A firmware update next week will bring HDR to all PlayStation 4 consoles, allowing for better contrasts in colours (you’ll need a HDR compatible TV though to get the benefit).
The PlayStation 4 Pro is said to be a ‘companion’ to the PS4, but let’s face it, do we all have the money to own both consoles? Sony have stated however that the Pro console will even make visuals look better on non-4K TV’s. Whether this is just to boost the sales I’m not too sure, but time will time.
Let rKade know if you’ll be getting the new console in the comments below! PlayStation 4 Pro will be released 10th November, 2016. Just in time for Christmas.share this story
