Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to 2018 (Sad Face)

Rockstar finally announced the release date for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 – Woop! But it’s now 2018 – Boo!

Originally scheduled for a late 2017 release, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been pushed back until next year in order to ensure they can “deliver a game only when it’s ready”.  That’s the typical spiel when a game is delayed, of course. But let’s be fair, we have waited seven years for the sequel, so a few more months won’t hurt…right?

I’d rather have a perfect Red Dead 2 than have to wait for it to be patched and frustrate me. Anyway, Rockstar have tried to soften the blow by gifting us with some fancy new screens. Check them out below and let us know in the comments how you feel about the delay! Read the original post below;

“Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to launch Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.  We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.”

I created rKade, hence the name! My favourite game has to be Uncharted 2 - I was 16 when that game come out and it was just huge. My favourite film is Back to the Future, closely followed by Die Hard, of course.
